Jerrylalruat Kim’s transformative journey began in 2016 when she joined the Self-Help Group (SHG) Darpawngi, marking the turning point in her life. Initially facing the challenge of running her own restaurant, she overcame hurdles by employing help and taking a CIF loan, starting at Rs. 25,000.
Through strategic financial management, Jerrylalruat paved her path to success, turning her restaurant into a hub of culinary delights. Once dependent on her husband, she has now become the architect of her own financial destiny. With a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000, Jerrylalruat’s story exemplifies the empowering impact of SHGs in fostering independence and entrepreneurship.
