Lakhpati Didi Journey
Ferika Lapasam a single mother of three children has her own shop. She too was one of the founding members of Chirup Chirup SHG. After she had joined the SHG she utilizes the SHG fund of Rs. 10,000 only/- and with a little help from her own sister was able to expand her business into in electronics and mobile phone retail shop, stationaries, cosmetics, and a coffee machine (which is doing well). She has now started to earn Rs. 4,80,000/- annually and can provide for a better standard of living for her family more. Ferika is also grateful for NRLM intervention in which she started from the bottom and now she is a proud Lakhpati DiDi through her own hard work.
