She started her business enterprise under the Startup village entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) Project with an investment of Rs. 9 lakhs in which Rs. 3 lakhs was her own fund and Rs. 6 lakhs was bank loan. She had worked as a teacher before. But due to an injury to her vocal cord, she was not able to continue her job. So she started this enterprise after quitting her job. She has been a Self Help Group Member since 2020. She came to know about the support provided for Self Help Group Members for starting an enterprise. So she sought the support from kudumbashree in starting this venture. Her determination to start a venture to make a stable income ended up by starting the flour mill and getting an income of Rs. 18,000 per month.
