Panuganti Raghava Devi belongs to Vennela Podupu Sangam Self Help group from Rangareddy District of Telangana.
Before joining the Self Help Group, She was doing wage labor and living on daily income. After Joining the Group, she took a bank loan and a small sewing machine was taken through a bank loan. Again a loan of one lakh rupees was taken from the bank and a clothing shop was set up. Then to expand her shop, again a loan of Rs. 1 lakh from bank loan and Rs. 1 lakh from Village Organisation was taken. Presently, She is earning Rs. 8000 to Rs. 10000 from the cloth shop. Joining the Group has improved her financial situation. She got a chance to expose at Mandal level and got to know about all villages and livelihood activities in the Mandal. She was able to participate in elections at Streenidhi bank and was elected as Vice President at State level.
