She started a business of vegetables, but due to lack of money she cannot buy a polyhouse and can not build a fish tank for fisheries. She came to know about joining the group formed under National Rural Livelihoods Mission so that after joining the group, the money received from the scheme can be used in economic activities to improve their livelihood.
After receiving various types of community capacity development training and livelihood related training, the women of the group are earning their livelihood by farming and fisheries. The group has been provided with a revolving fund amount of Rs. 20,000. The women have utilized this amount according to their needs. After that, a meeting was held with the women of the group and National Rural Livelihoods Mission staff on the vegetable production and fruits production done by Smt. Pushpa Devi from Jai Maa Bhagwati Self Help Group. She has achieved a steady monthly income of Rs. 12,000 to Rs 15,000.
