Samitaben’s extraordinary journey as an ordinary woman unfolded with her decision to join the Self Help Group where she not only received crucial financial assistance but also gained valuable technical knowledge. Her trajectory took a transformative turn with her association with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), leading her to secure a loan of Rs. 1 Lakh to establish her handicraft shop. This entrepreneurial endeavour not only boosted her confidence but also honed her skills as an astute businesswoman. With the cooperation of other Self Help Group members, she made a new design of cloth and from this cloth, she made a stole dupatta, etc. Because of these activities, she has now earned Rs. 15,000 per month.
