Lakhpati Didi Journey

Commencing her entrepreneurial journey with a modest Rs. 10,000 loan from the Self-Help Group (SHG), she ventured into chilli and brinjal cultivation. Determined to broaden her agricultural pursuits, she secured two additional loans, each amounting to Rs. 25,000. With these funds, she initiated a fishery and acquired goats, creating diversified income streams. Overcoming initial challenges such as limited capital, transportation constraints, societal pressures, and irrigation issues, she demonstrated resilience and dedication.

As her efforts bore fruit, she successfully repaid the initial loans, marking a pivotal milestone in her financial independence. To further expand her agricultural footprint, she extended her cultivation area from Two Bighas to a substantial One Acre, focusing on vegetable cultivation. This strategic move not only contributed to her growing income but also addressed previous challenges. Presently, she enjoys a monthly income of Rs. 15,000, a testament to her determination, strategic planning, and ability to overcome obstacles in her pursuit of sustainable and diversified agricultural practices.
