Kailash Devi, started her enterprise after receiving a bank loan of Rs. 1.75 lakhs and received financial assistance from Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission, including Rs. 50,000/- from community investment fund. With this financial support, she purchased machinery to produce mustard oil using a cold press method.
Smt. Kailash Devi has engaged Self Help Group members for running the work. This not only provided employment opportunities but also encouraged members to supply raw materials for the production process, fostering a sense of community and shared success.
The mustered oil produced by her enterprises has been well-received in the local market, resulting in good earnings. Through her enterprise, she earns around Rs. 11,500/- per month, contributing significantly to her household income and improving her family’s economic condition.
