Thakor Kiranben were trained to make various products from coconut saplings by R-SETI, Mehsana, through the District Village Development Agency. After the training, she took a revolving fund and used it to start small-scale production of various products like Ganpati, Toran, Todla, Wallis, Jummar and Kalash from coconut shells. At present a monthly net profit of Rs.14,000 has been obtained from this practice. A good sales arrangement is available at Becharaji Yatra Dham, the sales point for her group’s products. Their products were also sold in Saras Mela outside the district and Saras Mela outside the state. Their current annual turnover is Rs. 3.5 Lakh In which annual profit of Rs. 1.68 Lakh per annum.
