Before joining the self-help group, Rekha Bai had a small grocery shop in her village that often lacked sufficient stock, which limited her sales and income. However, after joining the group and obtaining a loan of Rs. 1 lakh through the Cash Credit Limit (CCL), she expanded her inventory. As a result, her shop became more successful and she managed to build a solid house with the earnings. Currently, Rekha Bai earns about Rs. 20,000 per month from her improved grocery shop, which now stocks a wide variety of items. Additionally, her husband purchased a soybean harvester with their profits and they have diversified their income by adding tailoring services and a pani puri business. This has significantly enhanced their family income and overall livelihood.
