National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED)

National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) is associated with the Ministry of Rural Development on 27 December 2021 to support women-owned Producer Enterprises and Farmer Producer Organizations. 

• They provide support in facilitation, coordination and promotion of the marketing and trading activities of Producer Enterprises in agriculture commodities.
• They help them in sales, purchases, import, export, and distribution of agricultural commodities, horticultural and forest produce.
• The two would undertake diagnostic study & value chain assessment, conceptualizing the business model, delivery framework and process, financial needs and business plans.
•  They support the program and overall coordination, implementation, and management of the program components including skill development, marketing activities.
