She joined the group and got financial and moral support as a member of the Self Help Group. Now she and her husband are taking agricultural land on lease cultivating paddy. Annual yield is 60 bags of paddy in which 13 bags are given to the landowner. She and her husband are also engaged in piggery and for every 6 months they invested around Rs. 60,000 to buy 10 piglets and after a period of 6 months they could sale Rs. 20, 000 to Rs. 25,000 for each pig. The family could earn a comfortable profit of Rs. 1, 40,000 to 1,90,000 for every 6 months from piggery and annually they can earn above Rs. 3 lakhs easily from the piggery alone. She also does weaving of traditional dress and owns a loom and tailoring machine.
