Wahengbam Sanathoi Devi, encountered numerous challenges in raising her children as a single mother. However, her life took a positive turn after she became a member of the Self-Help Group. She availed a loan of Rs. 15,000 from the group, which she invested in her food processing business. Consequently, she started earning Rs. 14,000 per month from her business. As a result, the total average monthly income for their family, including the earnings from her business and her daughter’s salary is around Rs. 32,000.
