पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय भारत सरकार मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आई.एम.डी.)

Ministry of Rural development and India Meteorological Department(IMD) have decided to come together on 30th October 2024 to exchange of Information of data,research and educational programme in furtherance promotion of weather and agrometeorological services for rural areas.

एन.आर.एल.एम. के अंतर्गत प्रमुख प्रसार क्षेत्र हैं -

• To promote weather services to enhance agricultural productivity and mitigate risks.
• To offer weather-based advisories and knowledge to reduce risks and increase income for farmers.
• To facilitate information exchange, innovation and skill development between the parties for effective agricultural management.
• Both parties will share the field level data and feedback of jointly undertaken / collaborative activities on regular basis.
• IMD will support DAY-NRLM in the capacity building of State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) staffs, Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and Mahila Kisans.
