Baiahunlang Sankli is both an entrepreneur and a school teacher. She began her bakery journey and continues to excel in her business. Her journey took off when she decided to join the Lawei Ba Phyrnai SHG under – Natyllong Village Organisation. Due to her passion for baking, she chose to focus on it as an alternative source of income. She started by making cakes and cookies at home in a very small space and eventually opened a bakery shop in her village. She has received various forms of financial assistance, including Rs. 1.4 Lakh from PMEGP for buying refrigerators and solar energy. Her total annual income is Rs. 2 lakh including various activities. In conclusion, she has greatly benefited from financial assistance and other support through the Self Help Group and she encourages other women in her village.
