Mini Mol Unni was an ordinary housewife belonging to the Kumbara community of Kodakara Grama panchayat. Our Kudumbashree entrepreneur named Mini Mol was found to be a person from that community who could work well. They had registered the enterprise with Kudumbashree and were working as an enterprise unit in the form of Deepam Pottery. To expand her venture, she needs financial assistance. An orientation training was given about the Startup village entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) project in their Neighborhood group and Mini Mol asked for the necessary assistance for the venture. Subsequently, she participated in the training programme for entrepreneurs, conducted by the CRP-EP group. She took a loan of Rs. 50,000 to buy machinery. Then they bought machinery and were able to produce in a good manner.
Their pottery products are brought for sale in the marketing fairs held in the panchayats, Kudumbashree Bazaar and different Melas conducted by Kudumbashree. She is also doing well as a coach and also as an entrepreneur. She is earning around Rs. 20,000 per month and have been able to provide employment to more families.
