Sunu started her venture at her house with an initial investment of Rs. 5,00,000 which includes Startup Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) Community Enterprise Fund ( CEF) of Rs. 25,000. She initially started her business in her home and expanded it into a shop. She specializes in birthday cakes & plum cakes. She expanded her business by starting a bakery & provisional shop later. She started this business with the help of Kudumbashree Self Help Group. She received more support in marketing her products through Kudumbashree. She is an active entrepreneur in Kudumbashree Cake Melas during Christmas and New Year time. She is making an annual income of around Rs. 3.5 lakh from this venture.
