Tripti Sikari belongs to Sonakhali village of Nadia district of West Bengal. She joined Nayantara Mahila Samity Self Help Group in her village. After joining the group, she received financial support and has been trained by block Staff for Integrated Farming Cluster Project. Initially faced challenges in starting up the activities and lack of technical knowledge of IFC but gradually she started to gear up the activities with the support of Community Cadre and grow the different crops mainly jute production. Using the raw jute she started making rope and selling it in a big market. Her average monthly income is Rs.15,000.

She expresses her gratitude to State Rural Livelihoods Mission for providing a platform to her and other Self Help Group women to do something of her own.
