Ministry of Fisheries

The Ministry of Rural Development joined hands with the Ministry of Fisheries on 07 April 2021 for providing support in fisheries activities to Self Help Groups Members through its Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna (PMSSY).

The Purpose of convergence is to enhance production and productivity, Infrastructure, strengthening of safety and Security of Fishermen or women and providing extension and support system in Fishery sector.
