National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

This association defines the broad framework between the Ministry of Rural Development and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). DAY-NRLM seeks the association with NIFT to provide technical support for the range of interventions with artisans in the handloom and handicraft sector as well as for marketing of different rural products.

• Design and product development support for Self Help Group products in the hand-loom and handicraft sectors.
• Development of training modules for skill up-gradation in the area of design development, packaging, display among others.
• Space and interior design of the Ministry of Rural Development outlets.
• Branding and Promotion activities including development of publicity and branding material.
