Amrit Madhuri Devi, a member of Mitali Self Help Group under Gabharu Development block, started her enterprise in 2012 after receiving a bank loan of Rs. 3 Lakh. She invested Rs. 7,000 from her own savings along with the loan to purchase machinery and produce various value-added products like fruit juices, jams, jellies, and pickles, resulting in good earnings from local and online market sales. She received financial assistance from Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission, including Rs. 50,000 from Community Investment Fund and a bank loan of Rs. 3 Lakh. She also received PMFME seed capital of Rs. 40,000 and a NRETP incubator grant of Rs. 3 Lakh. She employed six workers, including three Self Help Group members. Members of her Self Help Group benefited from employment opportunities and by supplying raw materials for product preparation. Additionally, the members gained exposure by participating in various melas organized by State Rural Livelihood Mission across different states and local organisations. She is earning around Rs. 20,000/ per month.
