Anjula Dahiya, from Raghunathpur village in Sidhi district, joined the Geeta Self-Help Group. She began with small savings, initially struggling to save but gradually building financial discipline with support from her family, who was a labourer. Over time, she invested in a grocery shop and started receiving training of Soap making training and became a soap-making trainer herself.
Today, Anjula and her husband earn around Rs. 15,000 per month from their soap-making business and grocery store. Anjula has become a community leader, inspiring other women to join Self Help Groups and work toward financial independence. Her journey is a testament to the power of unity and knowledge in empowering women and transforming lives.
