Mrs B. Suseela with her strong determination and support from Puducherry State Rural Livelihood Mission, succeeded in creating a Tailoring enterprise for herself. Her tailoring and beauties not only helped her increase her household income but also employed other people in the village. She entered into Self Help Group and got credit linkage through CIF Rs 75,000 also got an internal loan amount of Rs 25,000 and own investment of Rs 3 Lakh .She started her own Enterprise in the name of Jeevanathi Tailoring Unit and started eating an amount of Rs 19,000 per month after that she got an order from Phoenix company to stitch a 1000 Mask. After that she started a Beauty Parlour in the name of Jeevanathi Beauty Parlour and started earning an amount of Rs 15,000 per month. Her success demonstrates the potential of women led to entrepreneurship in rural areas. Her Tailoring unit created a sustainable income source, improved her livelihood and inspired other women also in her village and now she leads her unit with 5 employees. With well-paying dignified jobs opted for by her as a proud woman she now enjoys a vastly better lifestyle and work in a profession they have always aspired to.
