Mrs. Deivanayagi is an ambitious young, energetic, dynamic and progressive woman farmer who wants to lead her life without depending on others. She was a dairy farmer and joined Amudha mala Self Help Group. She got Credit linkage of Rs 75,000 from Community Investment Fund (CIF) & Bank linkages for Strengthening of her dairy activities where she bought two dairy milk cows. Under the NRLM Scheme, she underwent 12 days of Artificial Insemination Techniques training at Veterinary College, Department of Veterinary Gynaecology which was the milestone in her present life where she started practicing the learnt techniques and become Tot in her own village .By implementing AI techniques she started inseminating 8-10 cows per week in her own village and earning an amount Rs 8000 per month and from maintaining the dairying cows where she earns an amount of Rs 20,000 per month. Through her earnings she constructed and established her own AI unit. Apart from her livelihood activities she is the PLF leader in her own village and last year she got a chance to visit Independence day program at New Delhi along with her spouse.
