Lakhpati Didi Journey
Dev Kunwar, a tribal woman, joined Shyam Aajivika Self Help Group and started her journey by taking loans worth ₹85,000 from the group and bank. She used these funds to establish a grocery and clothing shop while also working as an A-HELP Sakhi and Pashu Sakhi, earning ₹4,000 per month. With training in advanced agricultural techniques, she started vegetable farming on her land using mulch and drip irrigation. She now organizes vaccination camps, livestock health check-ups, and provides guidance on breeding and animal nutrition, positively impacting local farmers. Her financial condition has improved significantly, and she is now an inspiration for other women in her community. Her current income is around ₹ 15,000 per month.
