Lakhpati Didi Journey
Dipanjali Bora’s journey from a homemaker to a successful entrepreneur and community leader is truly inspiring. Starting with a small loan of Rs. 50,000 from Self Help Group.
She initiated a bakery business from her home, gradually expanding her ventures to include tailoring and goat farming. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to secure additional funding, including Rs. 80,000 Community Enterprise Fund (CEF) to further grow her bakery unit. Her diverse business activities now generate an annual income of Rs. 8,00,000. Beyond her business successes, Dipanjali has also taken on leadership roles within her community, as a Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) and later as a Vitta Sakhi, she actively disseminates knowledge and provides financial guidance to fellow Self Help Group members, empowering them to pursue income-generating activities. Her participation in district-level events like the ASOMI Mela further highlights her commitment to community development.
