Despite being landless and facing financial constraints, her family’s knowledge of bakery business provided a glimmer of hope.
With the support of the Self Help Group and a financial boost of three lakh from a bank loan through Jammu and Kashmir State Rural Livelihoods Mission (Umeed), She established her own bakery Shop in frashthar village. This venture not only allowed her to meet her family’s daily expenses but also to educate her three children. Her journey explains how innovation and entrepreneurial spirit can lead to remarkable achievements.
Her bakery not only sustains her family but also provides employment to other people also, transforming her from an unemployed individual to an employer. Her future aspirations include expanding her business to the district level, leveraging further support from Jammu and Kashmir State Rural Livelihoods Mission (Umeed) and other departments.
