Lakhpati Didi Journey :

Minakshi Dawar belongs to Gandhawal village in the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Radhe Self Help Group. Before joining the group, Minakshi was dependent on migration for labour work due to her family’s financial difficulties. After joining the Self Help Group, she began taking low-interest loans to support her family’s needs and engaged in activities like animal husbandry, poultry farming and vegetable selling.

Her efforts resulted in a significant increase in her personal income from ₹5,000 to ₹16,000 per month, and her family’s income has risen from ₹10,000 to ₹27,000 per month. Later, Minakshi was selected as a Samta Coordinator by the Aajeevika Mission, where she received training on gender issues. She then started working at the Lok Adhikar Kendra in Pati, where she earned an additional ₹8,000 per month while raising awareness among women about their rights.

Minakshi’s journey, supported by the Self Help Group and Aajeevika Mission, transformed her life and enabled her to make a positive impact on her community. She now serves as a State-Level Master Trainer, helping to train other women coordinators and leaders.
