Pinki Devi’s family faced severe financial struggles. She joined the Jeevika Bihar Self Help Group named “Yamuna” and began to explore ways to improve her family’s economic situation. With an initial loan of Rs. 20,000, she opened a general store at home, selling everyday items and beauty products. This venture provided a modest increase in income, Pinki took another loan and expanded her business portfolio. She invested in a fish farming project and later bought a tempo for her husband to drive. These investments significantly boosted her income, which now exceeds Rs. 30,000 per month.
