Lakhpati Didi Journey
Ramilaben Arvinbhai Patel from Raypur in the Dholka block of Ahmedabad district embarked on her transformative journey as a working mother by joining the Heena Mission Mangalam Juth Self-Help Group in Year 2015. This step was crucial in her path toward financial independence, providing her with not only financial assistance but also the support needed to start and promote her own businesses.
With the backing of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), she secured a loan of Rs. 2 lakh to establish her own variety and cutlery shop. This venture significantly boosted her confidence and sharpened her business acumen. Expanding her business scope, she began traveling to other local villages and participating in Saras fairs across India, selling cutlery and spices like chili powder. Additionally, her roles as a Bank Correspondent Sakhi ensure a steady salary, further solidifying her financial stability.
She has become a model of success and empowerment through her diverse entrepreneurial activities. Her success story underscores the effective support provided by self-help groups and the National Rural Livelihood Mission. Today, she enjoys a monthly income of Rs. 30,000, a testament to her determination and the tangible results of her entrepreneurial spirit.
