With new found support, she took a loan of Rs. 18,000 from the Self Help Group to open a grocery store. Initially, she managed the store herself, but after some time she recognized the need to diversify their income, Reema decided to start a mixture manufacturing business. They took a Rs. 50,000 loan group and began running the business together. Although the grocery store and mixture manufacturing business provided some income, it wasn’t enough to meet all their needs or fulfill their dream of opening a medical store.
Reema took another loan from her village organization and finally opened the long-awaited medical store. This venture marked a significant milestone in their journey toward financial stability and independence.
In total, her entrepreneurial efforts contribute an impressive 3 lakh rupees annually to her household. Her hard work and determination have transformed her family’s life. Her efforts are widely appreciated by her fellow villagers and family members.
