Saroj comes from Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. She joined Vaibhavi Self Help Group, Saroj took a loan of one lakh and established her Masala Grinding enterprise. She purchased whole spices from the market and sold the powdered spices after packaging them. Slowly her business grew and she was able to employ 5 other Self Help Group members in her enterprise.
She is able to earn around 4 lakh per annum from her business, after paying salaries and other expenses.
