Birari Daxaben joined Ambika Sakhi Mandal Self-Help Group through village-level meetings by the officer, worker, or cluster coordinator. After joining Group, She started saving and used to clean the grains and pulses collected from the village of Ambika Turmeric Farm, fill them, and package them. After joining Mission Mangalam, they became financially stable. She started earning Rs. 500 to Rs 600 a day by doing packaging and labeling of Turmeric powder. She has been recognized as a Lakhpati Didi under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) Scheme and her efforts have significantly contributed to her family’s well-being.
