Lakhpati Didi Journey
Prior to joining the group, Renu and her family were dependent on labor work and struggling to fulfill her basic needs.
After joining the group, She received financial assistance of one lakh rupees under the Chief Minister’s Self-Employment Scheme. This enabled her to systematically start livelihood activities. Initially, Renu began with a flour mill and grocery store in her village, which they operated together. Soon, they realized they had time and opportunities to expand further. With the remaining funds from the scheme, they decided to purchase a compressor machine and a welding machine. She took personal responsibility for running the flour mill and grocery store.
Presently, She earns approximately Rs. 16,000/- per month from these activities. Today, Renu and her family enjoy a respectable position in society, no longer dependent on others. She attributes this transformation in their lives to the Livelihood Mission.
