Lakhpati Didi Journey :
Before joining the self-help group, Seema dedicated most of her time to household duties and had limited financial independence. Inspired by a community awareness drive, she joined the Unnati Self-Help Group, where she took on the role of Secretary due to her educational background. Through the group, she received her first loan of Rs. 45,000 to open a kiosk center, followed by a second loan of Rs. 90,000 to expand her grocery store and set up a Bharat Petroleum gas agency. Thanks to the support of the Aajeevika Mission, she has become a distributor for gas, lubricants, and diesel, earning commissions and diversifying her income. Additionally, she operates a grocery store and kiosk center, which has increased her monthly income to over Rs. 50,000. With this income, she has been able to acquire assets like a photocopy machine and a colour printer. She now dreams of advancing further within the Aajeevika Mission and bringing pride to her family.
