State Bank of India (SBI)

Ministry of Rural development has joined the hands with State Bank of India on 10th January 2024 for setting up economic enterprises.

• To implement a model of direct bank finance to individual Self help group members for setting up economic enterprises.
• To establish structured process and protocol for extending bank finance to individual member.
• Capacity building and sensitization of bank officials and State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM) functionaries towards need of bank finance for women-led Enterprise.
• Define new credit products to meet the emerging credit requirements of women-led enterprises.
• To support the Svayam Siddha Initiative of the Bank.
