Mrs. G. Latha received capacity-building and entrepreneurship development training through Tamil-Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission. These trainings enhanced her skills in business management.
She started a small business producing domestic chemicals, herbal soaps, millet health mix, and a variety of pickles. Initially, the business was small and consume locally. With continuous support from Self Help Group and mission functionaries, she expanded production and improved product quality packaging and marketing.
The financial support helped her purchase equipment, procure raw materials, expand production capacity, and improve working capital.
She upgraded her production system from manual to semi-automated processes, ensuring improved efficiency and consistent product quality. Branding, packaging, and standardization further strengthened her market presence.
With business expansion, her current annual household income has increased significantly upto 5.40 lakh in a year.
