Pooja Kumari joined the Jeevika group, seeing other women in the group working with the group’s help, Pooja felt that she should also start her own business.
Pooja took a loan of Rs.15,000 from the group. With this loan, she started a grocery shop at her home. Gradually, her business picked up pace. Her shop began to generate daily sales of Rs. 500 to 600. Gradually, with the profits from this business, she started a cyber cafe. Pooja also began to assist her husband in his business along with managing her own. Now, their combined daily income is 700 to 800 , amounting to more than Rs.15,000 per month. Pooja says that their life has completely changed after joining the Group.
