Ambitious woman Ramanamma is residing in Achanta village, Achanta Mandal, West Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. She witnessed her husband’s hard work and the challenges he faced as a farmer. Inspired by his determination, she joined a Mahitha Self-Help Group as a member. However, at that time, she had not yet ventured into business herself.
CRP-EP noticed her work and checked her business viability and then supported the SVEP fund of Rs. 40,000 and Sreenidhi 80,000. She started his Ramanamma sweets pickles business.
Starting her business, Ramanamma established “Ramanamma Sweets and Pickles.” However, she encountered various obstacles along the way. Despite these hurdles, Ramanamma persevered and gradually found success. Her average monthly turnover ranged from Rs. 40,000 to 60,000.
