Urvashiben Chaudhari remarkable journey unfolded with her decision to join the Om Sakhi Mandal Self-Help Group, where she did not only receive crucial financial assistance but also gained valuable training knowledge. Her tragedy took a transformative turn with her association with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), leading her to secure a loan of Rs. 1 Lakh to establish her equipment. This entrepreneurial endeavour not only boosted her confidence but also honed her skills as a businesswoman. She ventured into Organic farming, Animal Husbandry (Desi Cow farming) and making products like turmeric powder, masalas, Peanut Oil, Desi Cow Butter Making, Organic Gaud, Pickles, etc., which contributes to his monthly income. Her success story is a testament to the empowerment facilitated by Self Help Groups, as she is now earning a monthly income of Rs 18,000.
