Sarita Saini belongs to Shripura village of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh and member of Ekta Samuh Group. She faced many challenges in starting and managing the activities due to lack of technical knowledge and funds. Then she received financial support and technical knowledge by joining Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission.

She received a Solar dryer worth Rs. 1 lakh with the support of Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission and Panchayati Raj. Due to which, at present, along with commercial vegetable production, additional income has started to be earned by drying vegetables through solar dryers and selling vegetables.

Good profit is being earned by her providing vegetables in the market through solar dryers even in off season. Her monthly income is Rs. 20,000/-.

Her success story is a testament to the impact of the Self Help Group movement in Guna District, which helped her realize her potential and provided necessary capacity-building and financial assistance. She expresses her gratitude to Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission and all the people who guided her on this journey to a successful entrepreneur.
