National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (NCONF)

National Center for Organic and Natural Farming (NCONF) has been associated with the Ministry of Rural Development on 24 August 2022 for promotion of the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) for Organic Certification and Natural Farming Certification to Self Help group Members.

The objectives of the partnership under NRLM are 

• Capacity building of farmers, Krishi Sakhis, Board of directors of Farmer producer Organisations, leaders of Self Help groups and their federations and staff of NRLM and State Rural Livelihoods Missions (SRLMs). 
• Promotion of bio-input production on farms for promotion of organic & natural farming.
• They provide support for National Rural livelihoods Missions in identifying appropriate agencies for hiring them as technical support agencies.
• Development of capacity building materials for promotion of organic farming/Natural Farming/Agro ecological practices. 
• Capacity building, Assessment and accreditation of Community Resource Persons (Krishi Sakhis).
