Anjana journey started as a business woman with her decision to join the Self-Help Group, where she not only received crucial financial assistance but also gained valuable technical knowledge.
After marriage, seeing the art of pottery of her husband, she started learning the art and gradually became proficient in pottery making, pottery decorative objects, ganesh idols and painting them. She became a part of Jay Sadguru Self Help Group with an aim to revive the traditional art of pottery making and market it better to generate more income. Her tragedy took a transformative turn with her association with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), leading her to secure a loan of Rs. 60,000 and Mudra Loan for business expansion. Currently her monthly income is more than Rs. 65,000 and she is lakhpati didi of Umed Maharashtra.
