Basanti Yadav is an example of this work who joined Janani Self-Help Group of village- Sambalpur Block-Nawagarh, before joining the SHG she used to earn her living by farming and living a normal life. After joining the Janani Mahila Self-Help, she started a flour mill shop and also worked grinding wet pulses. But at that time she did not have enough money to start these activities, after getting a loan from the village organization (VO) Smt. Basanti Yadav started the activities. She returned the loan amount of the village organization with interest before time and got Rs. 3,00,000/- as loan from the bank for her business, presently her annual income is Rs. 2,00,000/-.
Today with the help of Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) Basanti Didi stands as a strong, economic pillar for herself and her family Group and is living a happy life.
