Lakhpati Didi Journey
Smt. Harjeet Kaur joined Self Help Groupunder Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission. Previously a housewife, she faced challenges in earning sufficient income from the sale of milk from her two buffaloes.To expand her dairy business, she availed a loan of Rs. 4 lakhs through the cash credit limit and an additional Rs. 15000/- from her Self Help Group savings.
With this financial support, she expanded her dairy business and has increased her income Rs. 1.55 lakhs per year.
In addition to her dairy business, Her actively works on Community Resource Person (CRP) for mobilization. She encourages Self Help Group members from her village and neighboring areas to engage in livelihood activities.
