Reshma Joined Self Help Group and received financial assistance and started goat rearing. She had faced challenges in managing activities and to start up new enterprises due to lack of knowledge and funds. Later, she attended training conducted by Kudumbashree Malappuram District Mission. She developed her self knowledge and started a bio fertilizer unit. Then she started poultry farming and plant nursery and became a technical expert in farming and animal husbandry. She was able to achieve good education for her children, secure a healthy life, and increase her family income. Reshma’s current monthly income is Rs. 27,000.
