Upon joining a Self-Help Group (SHG), she found a crucial source of financial support that laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey. However, the path wasn’t without challenges. Initially, she grappled with managing activities and initiating her enterprise due to a shortage of both knowledge and funds.
Undeterred, she sought to overcome these hurdles by actively participating in various training programs provided by the local block, focusing specifically on crafting handcrafted products. To further fuel her endeavors, she took a loan from the SHG, channeling it into her newfound passion for handicraft work. This strategic move not only addressed the initial financial constraints but also paved the way for an annual family income of around Rs. 1 lakh. In navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship, she exemplifies resilience, leveraging financial support, training opportunities, and her own determination to carve a sustainable and successful path for herself and her family.
