Angieloreta Iawphniaw’s Journey from small-scale food processing to a successful entrepreneur is indeed inspiring. She began her entrepreneurial endeavors by producing juice, jam, squash, and pickles primarily for personal consumption and local sales. However, her story took a significant turn when she became a member of the Shitylli Self-Help Group. Joining the Group proved to be a pivotal decision, as it provided her with access to valuable guidance and resources. She secured a loan of Rs. 40,000 from her group, enabling her to invest in business infrastructure. Leveraging these opportunities, she acquired machinery, tools and equipment essential for enhancing her food processing operations. With dedication, perseverance, and strategic utilization of resources, She witnessed remarkable growth in her enterprise. Her once modest venture flourished, leading to a substantial increase in her annual income, which surpassed Rs. 1.5 Lakh annually. Her success serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration not only to fellow group members but also to aspiring entrepreneurs in the community.
