Darchawngpuii’s journey began with her association with the Farmer’s Club Self-Help Group (SHG) in February 2014, providing her with a lifeline to transcend her limitations. While initially facing challenges in managing her finances, she displayed resilience by taking two subsequent loans totaling Rs. 4,50,000 across multiple phases. Through her determined efforts, Darchawngpuii transformed into an embodiment of empowerment and collective collaboration.
Her story is a testament to the transformative power of SHGs in fostering economic independence. Currently, she enjoys a monthly income of Rs. 50,000, illustrating how strategic financial decisions and collective efforts can lead to substantial economic upliftment.
