Manju’s remarkable journey as a housewife unfolded with her decision to join the Self-Help Group (SHG) where she not only received crucial financial assistance but also gained valuable technical knowledge. Her trajectory took a transformative turn with her association with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), leading her to secure a loan of Rs. 30,000 to establish her own Cow Rearing farm. Now she has 75 cows and 30 goats. This entrepreneurial endeavor not only boosted her confidence but also groomed her skills as a wise businesswoman.
Expanding her ventures, she entered into rearing of goats and fish farm, contributing to her monthly income. Her success story is a testament to the empowerment facilitated by Self Help Group, as she now enjoys a yearly income of Rs. 1,50,000, showcasing the tangible results of her determination and entrepreneurial spirit.
